This weekend has been one for the record books I tell you but I was not letting anything stop me from having my Oscar party, I just had to be a bit creative with it. Long story short, I got sick and my mom is in the hospital and with my invited siblings going in four different directions because of this and me not wanting to get anyone sick we had a Virtual Oscar Party. I made each of my guests goodie bags the morning of the Oscars which consisted of a bottle of Skinnygirl, a bottle holder, Skinnygirl bottle top, recipe cards, and a ballot of the nominees to be taken to their homes and enjoyed while we watched the red carpet coverage and Oscars we were Skyping with some people, texting along with others and enjoying our drinks.
Even though we could not be together we were still able to pull off a fun time, and I can’t believe I am saying this but my husband was the winner of the “Who do you think will win” segment. He guessed all but one right and after we all got use to the idea that he was the champ he declared that he just guessed every one of the nominees, where it took me an hour to get mine in place. We all got a laugh out of that!
One thing that we all took away was just how yummy Skinnygirl Cocktails are.
